Howth Yacht Club was founded as Howth Sailing Club in 1895. Howth Sailing Club later combined with Howth Motor Yacht Club, which had operated from the West Pier since 1935, to form Howth Yacht Club. Laser sailors across all three rigs got prepared for week 3 in what started out an overcast cold morning (almost) worthy of the series title ‘Frostbites’. HYC has a Puppeteer 22 for sale, courtesy of a kind donation by a member and now affording an opportunity to race as part of Howth YC's largest one-design fleet for a modest price.
